As you probably heard, President Obama will be holding a "Jobs Summit" today. Except that it won't focus on job creation. So we'll be holding a series of "REAL Jobs Summits" across the country to promote real solutions for job creation and economic growth. Yesterday we held the first one in Cincinnati, Ohio and today we will be in Jackson, Mississippi. Today's "REAL Jobs Summit" will be streamed live from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST.
Our Solutions for Job Creation
1. Reduce Spending and Replace Bad Government with Limited, Effective Government to Achieve a Balanced Budget.
When Newt Gingrich was Speaker, federal spending rose by an average of 2.9% per year, the lowest increase since the 1920s. We can apply the same principles that worked from 1995 to 1998 to create jobs and four straight balanced budgets through smaller government, less spending, lower interest rates, and less debt. We also need to replace bad government with limited, effective government, like we did in the 1990s when we replaced a destructive welfare system.
2. Five Tax Reforms to Reward Job Creation, Entrepreneurship, Savings, and Investment.
a. Immediate Payroll Tax Relief. Allow workers and employers to keep more of their hard earned money through an immediate, two-year, 50% reduction of the payroll tax. This step would immediately boost the take home pay of every worker, and dramatically free up cash for every employer to hire and invest. This tax relief could be paid for with unspent stimulus money.
b. Incentives for Small Business Investment. Allow small businesses to expense 100% of new equipment purchases each year to help them invest in new, more productive technologies.
c. Abolish Taxes on Capital Gains. Match the Chinese capital gains rate of zero. Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan testified in the 1990s that this was the best rate for economic growth.
d. Reduce the Business Tax Rate. America has the second highest business tax rate in the world. We should match the Irish business tax rate of 12.5%. Combined with a zero rate of taxation on capital gains, America would become the most desirable country in the world in which to invest and start a business.
e. Abolish the Death Tax. Inheritance is the most powerful accumulator of capital. Studies show that eliminating the death tax would create hundreds of thousands of new jobs.
3. American Energy Plan to Create American Jobs and Keep American Money at Home.
Developing more American energy while protecting the environment would mean the creation of millions of new American jobs and the generation of billions of dollars in new federal tax revenues, largely without the need for any new federal spending.

Its simple... there is 302 million people in the US. Give everyone thats legal and 18 and over 1 million. Dont have the exact figure however lets say it 250 mill.

Excuse Me, but wasn't Newt one of the guys that convinced us way back there when Ronnie Raygun wus running things, that all we needed to do, was repeal all the safety mechanisms that were enacted after the Great Depression to protect us from another economic meltdown. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it wus him, he convinced everyone that what was good for big business was good for America. So, him and Ronnie deregulated the banks and repealed a law that prevented banks from operating outside of their home state(this was designed to prevent any bank from getting too big to fail and endangering our economy).
Well, everything this president does is only for show. His point is to use every problem, crisis (real or imagined), every major incident, and every personal concern of his to use some public venue to call attention to himself, and get himself even more into the public eye. (Some of us are about to throw up, we've seen so very much of him!!) The liberal politician's ploy always is to "look as if I'm concerned about this. Look as if I am doing something about this." When in fact that person is doing nothing.
This tactic now have proven in recent years very successful at fooling tens of millions of people. I have relatives for instance who are daily (it seems) fooled by these appearances, when there is no substance of quality to back up or go with any of the appearances. The elderly in particular who grew up being taught to trust everything about government, are particularly prone to this sort of naivity about the evil, tyrannical drift of all our government branches.
In my opinion, we need to close the borders and roll back the immigration numbers to 250,000. Currently, the immigration number for legal immigrants is 1 million and the amount of illegal immigrants is 1 million or more. The burden on schools, hospitals and the departments of human resources not to mention the police and our jails is breaking the infrastructure of local governments.
Put a tax on imports and start buying American. Support the American companies and by all means read the labels where it comes from.... I read recently on a box of Colgate toothpaste that it is made in Mexico.
Wind mills and solar power all have their place but nuclear is the way to go and now while there is oil readily available to build these power plants. Being familiar with environmental engineering it is my understanding that the nuclear waste we have today would cover a football field, most of the waste can be respent, reduced down.
Nicola Tesla's idea on power systems were ideal. With his invention everyone would have their own power source at not be on a power grid.
Wind mills can only operate when the wind speed is between 5 and 15 mph. They are shut down when the wind is faster than that as their internal mechanisms are burnt up if they run in wind speeds faster than 15 mph.
Wind mills are a waste of time and money... Do you choose to buy Blue Sky on your power bill? The wind mills are subsidized by our tax dollars, or by loans from China that will have to be paid back for many generations.
When you vote for your congressmen and or representatives do you believe what they tell you or do you check to see if they are globalists that support the ideals of the UN and the dismantling of the United States?

Can’t buy a house. Can’t buy a car. Can’t get financing for your business. Can’t get a loan for your kids’ college education? What Happened?
I know that it certainly isn’t a part of the “kinder, gentler” mindset of today to blame anyone for anything. But the facts behind how America was lead to the avoidable dilemma we face today must see the light of day. We need to hold the folks who caused this fiasco accountable for their actions. By holding folks accountable for their mistakes their mistakes are less likely to be repeated by others. There is an old saying that goes something like this “Those who fail to learn from history are bound to repeat it.”
My firm belief is that this so-called “crises” we face today is a direct result of educated idiots leading this country toward ruin. And as I wrote earlier, these folks need to be held accountable.
This is how the story goes:
Back in the 70’s Democrat President Jimmy Carter and Democrats in the Democrat dominated US House and Senate voted through a bill that forced banks to make loans to people who couldn’t afford to pay the money back. During the 90’s Democrat President Bill Clinton, Democrat Congressman Barney Frank, Democrat Senators Christopher Dodd, Carl Levin and other Democrats in the US Congress and Senate continued to believe that people who couldn’t afford to pay for a house should be able to buy a house. Democrats forced lenders to finance homes with the full knowledge that the folks who were taking out the loans didn’t have the resources available to them to pay off the loans. These Democrats also assured the banks making those loans that if the loans were not repaid Freddie Mac and Fannie May would buy the loans thereby taking the loans off of the originating lenders books.
The programs available for the folks taking out these shaky loans accelerated during the and 90’s and early 00’s with now Democrat President Barak Obama helping “community organizations” get folks into mortgages they couldn’t afford to pay. The past few years have seen Democrats encouraging mortgage companies and banks to finance homes for more than the homes value.
Democrats during this decade including Frank, Dodd, and Obama took huge amounts of campaign money from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae that were at the same time being run into the ground by former Clinton Administration officials Franklin Raines and Jamie Gorelick. Raines and Gorelick received 10’s of millions of dollars running Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae into bankruptcy.
Republican Senator John McCain in 2005 and Republican President George W. Bush spoke of the dangers these bad loans would lead the financial markets but their words fell on the deaf ears of the Democrats who controlled Congress. Many on Wall Street were warning investors of impending financial doom if these Democrat inspired loans continued to be made. The media and Democrats, who have benefited from this debacle, failed to heed these warning and here we are today!
Now all the money that could be used to finance the things we need, educations for our kids and grandkids, home remodeling, food and clothing is tied up in houses that people can’t afford to pay for. In fact, I believe the number one reason American cars are not selling is because Americans either can’t get a loan to buy a new American car or don’t have confidence that the US economy will survive being run by a Democrat led bureaucracy.
The very troubling fact of all this is that the economic debacle we find ourselves in today was and is that this is a Democrat caused catastrophe done with and at the direction and with the blessing of multiple Democrats.
Why would Democrats run the American economy into bankruptcy? Democrat President Barak Obama Chief Of Staff Rahm Emanuel has that answer. “"Rule one: Never allow a crisis to go to waste. ... They are opportunities to do big things."
This Democrat crises is being used by Democrats Obama and Emanuel, Congressmen Frank, Schauer and the rest of the Democrat Congressional Delegation, Senators Dodd, Stabenow, Levin and the rest of the Democrats in the Senate to remake America.
Remake America into what you ask? After studying the situation the Democrats have left us with my belief is that the Democrats want a nation filled with sniveling whiners living in poverty and ignorance who are dependent on the Government for every thing they can imagine. That kind of America would assure Democrats that the America we once knew of as that “Shining City On A Hill” that Ronald Reagan once spoke so proudly of would be gone forever. That is why the Democrats created this crises and why Democrats have taken the actions they have to “solve” the crises they created.
Let me just add that George W. Bush should never have started this bailout thing but that did not suck the money out of todays economy. Democrat programs started decades ago did!

I know that it sounds great to talk about wind & solar power but we are years if not decades from developing the technology necessary to make these forms of power feasible. We need to use the oil and gas reserves that we have right here in the USA to end our dependence on foreign oil and drive the oil producing countries in the middle east back to the stone age where they belong.
If you check your history over the last 50 years you will see the the congress, which controls the purse strings, has been predominantly democrat and their desire to trsnsfer the wealth from those who earned it those who just want it, but don't want to work for it are to blame for the mess that we are in.
I think that the only way things will ever really get better is to throw all of the incumbents of both parties out and elect new members to both congress and the senate the then enact strict term limits so that we don't get the career politicians that we now have.

For all those students in America who are looking for work, I have some additional advice.
1. Keep trying. There are jobs out there. I am looking too. I sent one resume out and got an offer right away.
It's just REALLY competitive so people with experience and a proven record are going to get the jobs first. I have been a stay at home mom who has been an out of work engineer for 10 years. The difference with me is, I have a Masters AND I started my own successful business 5 years ago.
2. Stay in school and stay active in politics until the republicans retake congress. I stayed in school during the recession in the early 90's to get my Masters until the economy turned around. Ive never regretted that, and it makes more competitive today.
3. Keep doing what you love to do. For example, start your own business either by yourself or with a partner. Its great experience! Stay busy and use your creativity. You are the smartest you will ever be right now and you also have the most energy. To fund my start up business, I played guitar on the weekends and saved up the George Bush Tax cuts. The rest is history. If you don’t know where to begin, just ask your self "What can I do or invent to help people?" and you have a start-up business. Its not that hard...really.
The whole goal is to make yourself look better than everyone else. Companies like self starters, creative thinkers and problem solvers. If you start your own business, you have proof that you have all three of those qualities. When the economy starts up again you will look really good.
Don’t take too much risk. Start slow. You will make lots of mistakes. That’s OK. That’s how we all learn. Make the big mistakes early when you don't loose too much money.
4. Listen to Newt. He really knows what he is talking about. He alone can really CHANGE the country for the better, not for the worse like you know who. Newt will need a lot of support, especially from college students who want to work. So get the courage to organize and "sign up" your friends on campus if they want to work too, unless they are enjoying living with mom and dad.

Geez, I missed some years. Like all those years that Reagan was in the White House? And, how about the 6 years during the Clinton administration that Newt et al controlled Congress? Or, how about the 6 years under "W" when Congress was Republican? Guess they didn't do anything. Both parties have more than enough blame to share for the mess that we are in.
