I can't make the rally, but I put an item on my YouTube page at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhXr4H__Dts

If I make it it will be because of people like Michelle Bachman or Sarah Palin, true conservatives who would never throw their support behind a rino or liberal wolf in sheeps clothing. Newts support of a Liberal in NY strictly to tow the party line is exactly what cost the true Conservative the race. As far as I'm concerned you can stop sending me anything as you have proven to be a party line hack.

I truly want to make the trip to Washington, but am unable to because of a PCS move my husband and I are making. I am currently disabled and have to work through a TRICARE (try to get care) system which is a government run health care system. From my own experience, a government-run health care system will not meet the medical needs for the people due to it's unorganized, too many people to approve even the simplest things system. This is a very slow system that provides substandard health care and untimely responses to medical needs of the patient. It also opens up the door for more waste fraud and abuse scenarios. If the people have freedom of choice, do not choose a government run health care. You will regret it with your health and standard of living.

Newt - I am still against what is going on with health care and our congress in general, but am dissappointed with your support in the NY 23 congressional race.

We need conservatives. I have no idea why the local R committee chose an obvious Liberal RINO candidate but they did and you did.

I'm not dumping on you for just one error in judgement but I will be watching.

I believe my Congressman John Shimkus is very much against this Bill.

Newt, I will be attending this death panel agenda in DC.

In all do respect sir....I'm at the point where I am so fed up with the republicans such as you.
You are suppose to be a conservative and then went ahead and endorsed a woman who is pro death and pro gay marriage from the state of NY.
It appears you are a double minded man.
You are either in or out. You can't serve two master at the same time.

There is no excuse for what you did.

I am appauld at what you did.
God Bless,
Arlette

I agree with Ben C. and Robert A. -- Newt tends to rely on that 'so-called' bridge across party lines. But he often forgets that for liberal democrats that is a 'One-Way' bridge. They'll never cross it!

Don't quit on Newt, he is correct on a number of issues. We just need to keep reminding him (a verbal slap-side-the-head will do) when he wanders off track.

Newt (et al) - please see the Tue Nov 3, Yahoo Op-Ed by Rep. Thaddeus G. McCotter (R-Mich.) - titled: 'Patient-centered wellness for our people powered world'. It is a common sense approach to fixing health care.

Newt
You need to grab John McCain and Lindsey Graham and go start another party, in Siberia.
What you did with DeDe in NY was the end for me.
I let the global warming commercial with San Fran Nan go and your blindness to the radical Barack O'Bama adgenda, but this loss in NY-23 I am putting on you. Just go away you are not helping the Conservatives at all.
I am done contributing until you go away.

Mr. Gingerich . . . Living in GA for over 34 years I became an admirer of you. That being said, I am soooooo disappointed in you supporting the so-called Republican candidate in the New York (HOUSE) race, just because she was a republican. The lady was against almost all of my core conservative values. I guess you're not paying attention to the Tea Party protestors. It's not business as usual in politics. WE ARE INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVES. As far as I'm concerned you are a TYPICAL WASHINGTON POLITICIAN. . . what's in it for ME and the PARTY. . . not what is GOOD for the COUNTRY!!! You can kiss goodby, any support for you from my family for POTUS in 2012!!! POLITICAL BLOW HARD, comes to mind!

When I first heard Newt say "The era of Reagan is dead", that told me ALL I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT NEWT!!! If we learned ANYTHING from the last election it is not to be a liberal look alike to try to sway the independent vote!! McCain was the perfect candidate to do that and it failed! Why do you insist on copying them anyway Newt?? If folks want communism they can vote for Dems!!
How did Ronnie win by landslides?? He had core conservative values IN HIS HEART!! He brought them forth and the people loved him. He had CONVICTION FOR CONSERVATISM! I don't see that in you at all! Why did you support the liberal Republican in New York??
That should tell every American exactly where you stand! There is no need for lukewarm (actually cold) conservatism if we want to rescue this country!!

I've admired you and your opinions for a long time. Your endorsement of DeDe ****** in 23rd District of NY told me a story I didn't like. Was it because she was a so-called REPUBLICAN??? With her record she didn't fit the bill. The independent was a far better choice and he might have won with some enlightened support. How will you make amends?

This partisan b/s is just that. It has proven to be detrimental to the people of this country. NO MORE!

I, too, was disillusioned by Mr. Gingrich's support for such an obvious RINO (23rd NY). While I am truly conservative, fiscally and as regards social issues, I will vote for the person who mirrors those views most closely, and absolutely not walk in lock-step with a candidate who only claims to represent the things I strongly believe in under the mantle of "Repubilcanism." More and more that line has become blurred... So much so that a "name tag" cannot be taken at face value. The tea party protests were fomented by Washington's continued outrageous, ill-thought out spending and multi-faceted power grab. It ought to scare the bejesus out of any thinking person, regardless of party affiliation. The NY 23rd District race proved that much; an "unknown" (until about 30 days ago) pulled within a very few percentage points of victory. Perhaps our "betters," those with all the supposed political savvy should take note. There's a reason public financing of campaigns doesn't get more traction in Washington. The incumbents, awash in special interests $$$ want to keep the status quo; they want to keep their power and all the perks that come with it. BS, I say. Be afraid, entrenched, gluttonous power, be very afraid. With more candidates like Doug Hoffman coming to the fore, your Ides of March will be upon you before your ego sees it coming. I've always respected your intelligence and grasp of issues and solutions, Mr. Gingrich... Get a grip. Use that great cranial organ God gave you to discern where your true (and oft-stated) allegiances lie... Hopefully, they lie with US, those who believe in what our founding fathers risked, bled and died for; the right to live free of unnecessary state-imposed constraints, to flourish by our hard work and to leave a better nation for those yet unborn.

I have called my Representative half a dozen times, and will do it again. But Newt--I am totally dissappointed in your lack of backbone and throwing the "conservitives" down the drain. I will not vote for John McCain upon his re-election, (I live in AZ)and I will no longer support you, because you both have denied true conservatism and are attempting to "appease" the Left. Neither of you are willing to fight for consevatism.

Newt, what in the world are you thinking. I continue to respond to your requests for donations because I thought you really did represent the conservative ideals that are sorely needed in this country. It is no longer about the Republican Party! It's about saving this country!

How do you expect people to support you when you kick us to the curb so you can continue lock step with the good old boys of the GOP. The results of your support for the bimbo backfired when she throws her support to the dems.

Sorry partner, no more conservative money.

I am with James Hays 100% plus: Newt you seem to be just a party hack. The 5% sucked of by the pro abort pro fag liberal RINO cost the election. And worse: You recently became Catholic. So: Which version of liberal Fr. Loony Tunes instructed you before becoming Catholic? I will NEVER vote for a RINO again even if it means giving the victory to the socialist scum AKA democrat. There are more than 5% of us!!!!

Newt you talk a good game, but when it comes down to winning you fail as always. I am a true conservative and constitutionalist and will not back you or any luke warm republicans from this point forward. NO MORE RINOS!!!!

Newt,

I have always been a huge fan but you lost me on the NY congress race. Why endorse another psuedo liberal phony republican. It was a snub to conservatives and then she pulls out the Benedict Arnold tactics. We deserve better than this Newt. Again, I have always been a HUGE fan of yours but it made zero sense to me to stand behind another progressive that is ruining our country.

Will someone please explain why we cannot escort him or her out of office? They are only 535 of them and 300000000 of us. What is wrong with this picture? Congress is forcing this down our throats and we sit here and whine about what they are doing wa-wa wa-wa. We follow the rules and they do not. How about us do gooders bend the rules a little and save our selves by pulling these jerks out of their chairs and show them how the cow ate the cabbage. Actually, we should arrest them for treason and theft of our money and lives.

It is a shame that we are all writing about Newt's lack of support for a true conservative instead of the important rally in D.C. However, we get sick and tired of this approach of supporting a party that has put us in a closet. We are being outsmarted by the left because they are willing to do almost anything to win. Keep an eye on Dee Dee's career because her payback will come from the left. Also, imagine what the result would have been if the RNC dollars had been with Mr. Hoffman from the start or even in the end they would have included his name in their ads. Remember to contact your representatives on Thursday!

I think this will be the time to show all our legislators that we are as serious and rational as well as passionate about wanting a govenment that:
1. is truly bi-partisan and not operating behind closed doors.
2. obviously disrespects Americans by trying to pass through health care reform without the first things first issues like tort reform and.. (my mind went blank) as well as dealing with ridiculously high doctor's insurance. We should be paying for hospital and catastrophic from another pool of money. In short, let's keep government out of healthcare, let competition reduce costs, and take those billable hours down to the real malpractice cases.
3. Energy - we already know where we have oil and natural gas in abundance as well as the capacity for nuclear. Good God, let's use it.What's your agenda for not using it. We're on to you
4. Cap and tax/cap and trade will turn out to be another game that hurts us.
5. Jobs - real ones not for ideal "arguing" bureaucrats but men and women who can rebuild this nation and the modern cities it needs. I know a lot of good people in constructin with ideas.
6. This is easy. Transparency. Stop with the hidden agenda. We are a highly educated people. YOU are losing our trust. If you are trying to destroy our economic system have the courage to say so.
7. We love our Constitution. Try to step on it and you are stepping on us. We love our flag, the Pledge of Allegiance and the Declaration of Independence. We will NEVER replace them. We will replace you.
8. Read our lips. We don't want your one world government. You work for us. Ultimately you will have to return to live among us as well. Your job will come to an end. Your performance will be judged not by your party but those who elected you. Some of you may need to live in exile. You may need to start seeking a desserted haven. I am told the hills and mountains of Afghanistan make good hiding places. You won't run into your angry constituents there. The Taliban are eager to meet Americans who are foolish enough to betray their own people. (In other words, people just like them.)
9. We don't want to be part of a one world government. Treason is a very serious charge. It has reluctantly been on our lips lately.
10. Listen to us. We are the one's who will solve our nations problems. Not idealogies. You will NOT destroy our children's future. We will not let you. Do not tread on us. Our resolve is serious. To this we pledge OUR lives, OUR fortunes, OUR sacred honor and OUR love for OUR country.

only 24 hr notice to make travel arrangements??? ill be there in spirit, i guess.

Bully for you Mr. Adkerson!

And Bully for all the rest of you standing up to Newt.

Newt, you did good work 15 years ago but people like you have made the Republican name meaningless. If I register as anything from now on, I'll call myself Conservative.

As to your future plans sir, we know you won't follow, you've shown you can't lead, time to GET OUT OF THE WAY.

From now on, anything with your name on it goes straight to the trash at my house.

Please take a look at the free market solution to heath care reform that we can do right now and can derail the freight train coming at us. A non-profit coalition run by we the people! http://wethepeoplehealth.com/

I'm wondering how the election in the 23rd District NY would have turned out if the R party had endorsed
Mr. Hoffman????
I believe the R party has lost sight of the truth, they don't understand that "we" are people of principle and values. We will not compromise those principles and values for anyone or any party. I'm at the point where our family is prepared to give the R party the pink slip unless they make major changes that reflect the conservative people who support them.
Our family will continue to fight the Obamacare, Climate Change treaty and anything else that is anti-American, regardless of R party deficiencies.
"There's a tendency to throw aside old values as belonging to an earlier generation. Don't discard those values that have proven, over the period of time, their value. Just believe in those values that made our nation great and keep them: faith, family, hard work, and, above all, freedom."
— President Ronald Reagan

I think Newt, even with all his books, education, and degrees, was absolutely scammed. I understand his logic. I don't think because he did the correct thing means he should be blasted because he ended up not doing the right thing. This is a GREAT LESSON that not all Republicans are republican. I would LOVE TO KNOW what sort of money, position, or bribe the White House offered ScaazaaFava. Time will tell. Newt was conned. It happens. If we can all learn from it, it will turn out to be a good thing!

Newt-

Does anyone at your level bother to read Rasmussen now and then? 78% of the people calling themselves Republican think Republicans in congress don't reflect their values.

Do you even read the comments people leave on your own site?

You are part of the problem sir, not part of the solution. Having made the Republican name meaningless, maybe you should consider starting a party of your own: The Retirement Party.

Don't bother sending me an invitation to it, however; from now on, anything with your name on it goes straight to the trash.

Cordially,
Tom Johnson

To the Democrats & Republicans in Congress who don’t quite get it: I want to offer a personal pledge. I and a lot of other people have every intention of removing you from Congress in the next election if you stand in the way of health care legislation that the majority of the American people want but without any type of public option attached. That is not a hollow or idle threat. We will come to your district and we will work against you, first in the primary and, if we have to, in the general election. We do not want the "Public Option (single payer of any kind)".....period! Rest assured, we are all watching how you vote now and in the future.

The Tea Party Express is gaining momentum and more buses are going to be needed. Liberals & Acorn can now take a back seat with their Socialist minds and watch conservatism repair the damage done by the Obama adminstration in 1 years time.

Sorry, I can't make the rally. I'm trying to sell real estate in a very difficult market.

I do want to encouraqe Newt to stay out of any issues that can be spun as a "civil war" among conservatives. I believe the mixed messages contributed to the temporary loss in NY. However, the other two wins were of much greater importance.

I cannot attend the rally. I am unemployed with no health care and supporting a mentally challenged child with no help. I do not support so far anything this administration has and is trying to do. I have already emailed my representatives and they do not support the present healthcare bills. Right now I cannot afford anything but I still have a VOICE, EMAIL and a pen and paper and will use them!!!!!!

I have been contacting politicans on a weekly basis for months and will do so tomorrow. It was too short of a notice for me to come from California.

I echo the comments of everyone who took you to task for towing the party line in NY 23.
Some of those Republican votes may have been absentee ballots sent in before she dropped out and some may have been from people who vote the party no matter what...which is what you did Mr. Gringrich.

I am skipping a day of work to attend because it is that important! Also, like many of you I was disappointed with our former speaker, for his support of the RINO, in NY's 23rd district. However, I understand his desire to respect the local party's selection; but, they were wrong! We have come to the point where all of us must boldly admonish any who are misguided. Mr. Gingrich was misguided on this one.

LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, too, have been very disappointed with the actions of Newt, Michael Steele, Lindsey Graham and other Republicans who are not standing up and aggressively fighting the treasonous activities of the democrats.

Until the Republicans clean up their act, they are not getting donations from me. When the Republicans raise up leaders of character and strength and vision I will return.

Come on, be FREEDOM FIGHTERS.....We must save our republic!

Here's an idea.
When we arrive at the capitol steps give us copies of pamphlets containing the GOP health care proposal. We can hand these to the thousands of media reporters who will be there to record the event and to our congressmen....

Newt How could you make such a serious mistake in judgement in the NY 23 District election. Please be more conservative in your pick of futrue candidates. The Rep party needs to get off its behind and get back to conservative ideology
Just finished your first book on Gettysburg ,live there look forward to reading Grant perhaps you should write books and stay out of picking candidates that screw the party. Let me know your thoughts Our Rep is a real conservative, T.Platts emulate him

Why is everyone just pounding Newt! You’re all acting like he’s some kind of sellout or something. You’re writing as if Newt Gingrich has had a bunch of great ideas and has focused a lot of conservative ideas into support for values that we can get behind, and then he did something wrong... Like support an ACORN endorsed (and endorsement accepted) candidate. You all act like he’s putting the Republican party ahead of ideals that you and I feel are important. You’re acting like he’s sold you out, like many other Republicans over the years.

Hmmm. Well, when you put it like that…

Newt, after many years of not trusting you, I began listening to you again about 18 months ago. You’re obviously a smart guy, and you have some very good ideas. Unfortunately, I don’t think you’ve been out of politics long enough to come all the way back to earth – where real values matter, even if it means losing elections. Better to retain your seat than your soul? I don’t think so.

I’ll trust you again when you’ve been out of politics long enough to be trustworthy. If we still have an electorate in 2036, you should run for president. Any time before that and I’ll personally campaign against you (and in 2036, assuming I’m not in a gulag, I’ll be 65 – almost your current age).

Here’s the deal, be true to your values. We may get to a point where it’s all that we have of any worth. Don’t sell out and don’t put either party ahead of what’s right. Newt made a critical error in backing the ACORN Republican and I don’t think most will forget it – our memories are better now than they’ve been for a long time. I’m glad he slipped up because it shows his character (win or blame at any cost).

One more thing – this is a Michele Bachmann call to rally. You can’t have it both ways – either you support the people “radical” enough to make a short-notice trip to D.C. or you don’t support them in favor of “moderate” ACORN candidates. You can’t have both. Get off the coattails of real conservatives.

Newt, I can understand the pragmatism of backing the candidate with an "R" after their name in favor of a "3rd party candidate". Up to a point, that is.

Sure, if there was a choice between a "spoiler candidate" and a conservative republican then that makes sense. By all means, back the conservative republican.

Perhaps even a choice between a "spoiler" who doesn't stand a chance and a "moderate" but not too liberal republican who has a GREAT chance well... ok, it maybe makes pragmatic sense.I mean a radical liberal democrat would be the worse poison.(Just what is a "moderate" anymore anyway? Someone who has stopped having absolute principals in favor of being popular.)In that case, yeah, ok, hold your nose and back the moderate and hope they get elected even though you know they are spineless. At least they won't be as damaging as the democrat.

But when the republican candidate is just as liberal, and when the "3rd party" candidate(This wasn't technically a 3rd party candidate if you think about it.) is espousing conservative principals AND when that candidate DOES have a GOOD or even SOMEWHAT FAIR chance of winning, well then, the pragmatism has lost any logic.

I and others like me, are sending a message to the republican party, and to you as well. We're keeping an eye on you. I don't want our party to merely be an "echo" of the democrat party. I don't merely want the republican party to "get to same place only slower" Who are we kidding? Why be "moderate" or "liberal" when we can be for a smaller, limited, federal government, lower taxes, family values, and constitutional and Judeo Christian heritage? Why support any candidates who don't share any inkling of these values? I have always respected your ideas and insight, but you have me scratching my head.

I'm not sure, I can't remember who, but I think it was Lincoln who said "The best way to change a bad law is to enforce it strongly." Liberal philosophy is a bad "law" or philosophy for our country. The left and the media have succeeded in watering down the difference between liberalism and conservatism. People no longer see much difference. So,... I WILL vote for the Doug Hoffmans out there. Maybe I'll just say it's better to stand on principle even though it means a guy like Doug Hoffman won't get support from the republican party. Even though he may lose. You see, it's better to lose for standing on principle than to die a slow death. And the "bad law" that is Liberalism would be enforced strongly.Yeah, I know. It seems like political suicide, but such is the frustration of a voter whose party is betraying him and not doing him any good anyway.

When the people of this country see that only the democrats get elected on their message of "hope and change" or being all things to all people, and that republicans don't get elected by watering their message down, AND when Americans see the destruction of freedoms and the economy from liberal philosophy, THEN things will get much clearer in everyone's eyes. There will be so much anger and frustration that you won't need to define what liberalism and conservatism is. Instead there will be an outcry. That would change the "bad law" of Liberalism.

I for one, would rather the Republican party get a backbone now rather than wait till things get that bad.

Newt, I agree with the previous writers. If the Republican party cannot find a way very quickly to return to conservative values and stop worrying so much about including liberals in the tent, there will be another party to take its place. Most of the country is sick of seeing these lonely liberals and half hearted so called conservatives looking for a way to sneak in under the tent and destroy the freedoms our ancestors fought to protect. The Republican party seems not only willing to compromise on core issues but it's getting difficult to see much difference between the two parties anymore. Maybe it's time for conservatives to start a party that believes in a government of the people, by the people and for the people again. One where the politicians are required to vote the will of the people rather than spend us into oblivion on pork to buy votes. I see nothing significant changing until we are able to limit the terms of congress to eliminate the professional politicians. I've read enough of the writings of the founders to know that permanent politicians was not what was intended but that is what we currently endure... for the moment.

Andrea thank you for your capture of what our country should be and look like, I am copying it and I ask for your permition to quote from it.

You did not put down Newt for His big mistake on NY district 23 and his attack on Sara Palin. I will go along with you, but it hurts me to know that the little money I sent to Michael Steele went to elect a democrat with Obamas' socialist agenda that want to transfort our country into a European paradise with our hard earn money.

I am going to cut Him a slag this time but I will be watching one mistake is his mistake, number two mistake it is my mistake. I saw Michael Steele smiling at an interview with CNN about NY 23 and He stated "He does not have the luxury to pick every candidate" why do we need them if they can not even read their candidates background. Shame on them.

Wow ! Newt--are you hearing this?WHAT CAN YOU DO TO REDEEM YOURSELF.
Perhaps a new conversion.
I've been calling you "THE WISEST MAN IN THE ROOM"! Now don't betray us again.
SOMEHOW let us know you have WISED UP! NRE.

what the hell is this health care plan trying to do make the situation worse by raising taxes on ins.and refusing medicine to the people who need it most not to mention not being able to go to the doctor youve had for many years and let someone choose a doctor you dont even know with blind trust not to mention the long wait for medical care would obama send his family to these same doctors the goverment is picking for the people that have to go on this program mike 11/04/09

Newt thank you for the invitation to the "House Call" even though there is no organization to prepare for it. What about, are there any Tea Party organizers that can organize buses from NYC?. I will gladdly pay my way. Maybe car pools. I can be contacted at humace2@gmail.com

Newt I've been a huge fan of yours for many years...no more. Desperate times call for desperate measures and we cannot abide someone who doesn't stand firmly rooted in conservative values. Deep down decent Americans crave a leader that will fight again to reclaim our lost freedoms and preserve the ones we still have. We need to walk away from the class warfare from both sides and fight for the constitution so that we can preserve our liberty and freedom for all.

Don't be stupid people and let your dislike for one man allow Pilosi to win. Republican are almost as bad as dem but they have one thing to reccommend them. They will vote against Polosi care and Obama's agenda that will destroy our country. Put aside your differences and after we've saved our country, argue the issues. If we don't unite, you can just get ready for Socialism.

I understand why Newt recommended DeDe. He wanted to leave it to the local politicians, unfortunately we can't do that anymore. I can't believe that the local party picked this "wolf in sheep's clothing" to run in a conservative district. What were they thinking. I don't think it behooves the Republican party or conservatives to attack each other. I think Newt was wrong, but I continue to believe that we have to unite against the Democrats to bring conservative values back to this country. We cannot afford to give our opponents ammunition to use against us.

Im confused. What was brother Newt thinking? He is a smart guy. He HAD to know this Dede person was a RINO. I mean if she won would that not be a big set back for us knowing she would vote against everything we hold dear? So what if she pretended to be a republican. Should I vote for nancy, or harry or barack if they said "O by the way Im also a republican"
After ignorant voters, the biggest danger to our country are the politicians that pander to them. Dede is a typical pander bear. So called health care reform , that she supports, is nothing but another class envy ploy. Its the pander bears telling people to keep voting for me and I will get you more of other peoples earnings. I think it was Ben Franklin who said something to the effect that when a majority of people realize they can vote themselves the wealth of the minority of the people the republic is doomed. That is what we are watching happen. People like Dede are pushing it along. People who vote for her are pushing it along. People who support her and allow her to PRETEND TO BE A REPUBLICAN are pushing it along. I hope brother Newt just made an honest mistake. Far be it for me get mad at another persons mistake. Lord knows I have made lots of them.

For someone who is supposed to be so "brilliant", Newt is behaving like a moron! We have been down this road of "defining the Party before" We decided on Conservatism as our party platform. We didn't change that,The so-called "leadership" of the party decided to change that. So I will echo the sentiments of more than a
few here and say "take your Liberal agenda to who wants it, Democrats and get out of our CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY. YOU,Newt, lost the election for us in NY23. THANKS ALOT!!!!!!

Newt, Newt, Newt....and you were doing so good. It only take one "oops" to cancel out many "at-a-boys". Not your best day Newt. You have some catching up to do. Get busy being a conservative or get out of the way.

I agree with Robert Adkerson, Arlette Vanarthos, Michael Nowicki and Clark Kinnison and others who have articulated our feelings of frustration with Mr. Gingrich and his ilk. We do NOT want a "big tent". We want true conservatives in the Republican party. How many times do we have to fail before we recognize the winning strategy of true conservative principles and values, and take our country back!

Newt,

I cannot attend the rally.

My husband Brian is going to the rally in DC tomorrow
by bus.

I will call my congressperson Kathy Dahlkemper.
She states that she is not liberal, but her voting
record shows otherwise.

Good luck tomorrow.

RNC begs for $$$ every week
and then wastes $900K on a
liberal RINO.....

Why should we trust you???

Conservative party is sounding
better and better every day.

I agree with Suzanne 100%. The government is the last place I want my health care decided. A good example of their inefficiency is the H1N1 innoculation. We have been discussing this "pandemic" for the better part of a year, and now that it is here, not enough vaccine to cover those people who need or want the vaccine. After all of the talk, wouldn't you think that the government would be ready a year later? What makes me think they can handle totat control of health care?

I am very gratified to find many like-minded individuals posting on this! Next, I am going to the RNC site to remove myself from their e-mail list. The way the RNC has been behaving is deplorable. I will now be a Conservative ex-Republican! Wake up, Mr. Steele and Mr. Gingerich! I wish I could attend Ms. Bachmann's protest in person, but cannot. My Representative will hear from me, however.

Newt,
I don't believe you still stand strongly as a conservative after the handling of New York 23. You have your own people down! I will continue to be a Republican but can no longer support the GOP on a national level. Instead I plan to work for and support any Republican or other candidate who's record of values line up with my own.

Loud & Clear Newt; conservatives are OVER liberal Republicans. I would pray every day that you are looking to the Lord for strength, courage and discernment!
I believe Sarah Palin is a great mentor for you. Be in the lime-light but do the right thing ANYWAY. This is why she did not "fit in" in Washington and that is why we desperately need her in Washington!
Be accountable & acknowledge mistakes. Conservatives have been pushed into a corner; the only way back is through truth & courage of a Godly leaders.

Buck up & get it right,we are strong in support, & you are to smart, & to gifted, to go limpy now.

Too little, too late Newt. You are now a Has Been, irrelevant, media-schmuck, RINO. Just drop it already. We have moved on from you and your ilk. You can no longer take credit for anything in the Conservative Movement now. Go kiss up to Scuzzafovalufugus and sing praises to Obama & pelosi!

Know what? If we can pink slip Congress, why can't we pink slip the RNC and our own States GOP? Why should we have to build our party from scratch when all we have to do is a little house cleaning in our own midst? I am pitching this Idea to my TEA Movement right now!

Newt,

Your choice in the NY district 23 was an error that the conservative party can not allow or make. Hopefully, you and others will hear what "We the People" are telling you about our values and love of our constitution. This is no longer a time where politions or the people can sit on the fence or go against the principles this country was founded on. We are in great jepordy of losing everthing our founding fathers fought and some making the ultimate sacrifice with their lives. I thought of myself at one time as a liberal until I began working for the government and soon learned the lies covered over with politically correct speach or symatics. Newt, this is the time to step forward and hear what we are saying and begin a process to keep the oath to serve and protect this great country at any cost just like myself and others who took that oath in the military. This oath is not a convenience, but an oath for life and one you live. Newt, you have many worth while programs and processes that would help this country out greatly, but you devalue those by taking action like you did for the NY district 23. Listen to the people and follow suit. What is moving through this country among the people is powerful, right and just.

Mr. Gingrich,
I supported you all through the Reagan era and throughout the Contract with America. And I still do, but, I am deeply dissappointed at your support in NY23.
Your explination on Hannity's radio show was simply a big CYA. It would demonstrate true character if you just said "I made a mistake, I'm sorry for the lack of good judgment." Instead you tried to political speak your way out. Didn't work as evidenced by the response here and in your emails.
Don Giesler

Newt,

Sorry, but you really blew it on the NY23 candidate. As you can see, you really miscalculated. I have had great respect for you for many years, real respect, but wow, what were you thinking? Going with the party flow, instead of behaving with principle, is exactly what's allowed Pelosi, Reid and Obama to take over. Please, don't let us down like that again. Let's see the real Newt stand up!

Thank you for saving my life.

Newt, rent the movie Brave Heart to see what kind of politican you are!! Just like the Scottish royalty, you've thrown the true American people (conservatives)under for a little more personal power. You're backing of DeDe was disgraceful and has proven you will say anything for personal gain. Please watch this movie to the end, because just like William Wallace said, if you would just lead even I would follow! But you have shown you're true color's, you blew it, you almost had some of us fooled. True conservatives are waiting for a leader that will not compromise our beliefs for any party line and you sir are not it!!!!!

I am sorry I am ignorant to what Newt has apparently done by endorsing this DeDe woman out of the 23rd district in New York. It sounds like he certainly backed the wrong candidate. Newt, I wish you'd explain yourself or admit your mistake and apologize or something...but we have a bigger fish to fry. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. Right now is certainly not the time. Newt is still a political genius with some necessary backing and he's really the best we have. So, let's move on with the other potentially catastrophic problems in our country.

Newt, you used to be the man but I have had doubts as to you being a true conservative. Your support of Scozzafava pretty much was the nail in the coffin. You are out of touch with the conservatives and too busy with your book deals. Time to move on.

Booo to you Newt for supporting Dede Scuzzlebutt (or whatever her name is!). Why in the heck was she even the GOP canadiate?! Don't you vet these people? Or do you just draw names out of a hat? She was endorsed by ACORN for God's sake! The GOP needs to be investigated and people like this need to be removed from party consideration! We need a big GOP house cleaning and get rid of these liberal rats.

I never understood what RINO's were until now. When I vote GOP, I demand that person is for low taxes, small government, no special interest, no big labor, no criminal activity! We need Regan-types. Real people that are real conservatives.

If you'd hadn't been stupid and endorsed this liberal pig, Hoffman might have won. Or better yet, Hoffman could have been the GOP canadiate.

Newt, either shape up, or go join the liberals! Your hurting our party!

There seems to be a lot of hypocrisy with this message. You are asking us to attend a rally to help defeat the health care bill, when Newt, and Michael Steele helped elect the Dem. to the congress, and give them another vote for the bill. They have shown their true colors, that the "R" beside their name is more important than what they stand for. I,ve been a Republican all my life, but I'm through with them now, after what Newt, and Steele did to help defeat the true Conservative, and get another Liberal elected in New York. If they had really been true conservatives, like Sarah Palin, Dick Army, Fred Thompson, Michele Bachmann, and others that supported Mr. Hoffman, the comsevative canadate would have won by a landslide. Newt, and Mr. Steele both knew that DeDe Scozzafava was a true liberal, but they supported her anyway, just because she had an "R" beside her name. This tells me that not all, but a whole lot of the Republican Party leaders can't be trusted, and it's kind of hard to tell the difference between the Dems. and the Reps. It's becoming more, and more obvious that the reason that the Dem. and Rep. party are Slamming Sarah Palin is because they are both affraid of her, because she is honest, and cares about doing what's right and not just going along what the party wants. I'm always hearing that if I vote for and Independant or Conservative Party Candidate or any other than the Rep. that I'm throughing away my vote. Well, I may be, but we've got to start somewhere, and for me, the time to start is now. So in closing I'll just say thank you Newt, and Michael for showing me the new direction I'll be going from now on. No more donations, or support for the Rep. party, and I'll be contacting my local Rep.party not to be contacting me anymore with their BS, and hypocrisy. My vote from now on will be for the person that can show me they are a true conservative. If there is any dought, I'll just sum it up with "Shame on you Newt, and Micheal Steele.

Newt, while I have been a fan for a number of years, I am so disappointed that you chose to throw your support behind the R candidate. When it comes to Concervatives,"It takes one to know one." What was really disappointing was looking at his numbers and realizing that a win for the real concervative was hampered by the Republicans. What a shame.............
How do you have the ability to state with a such clarity what concervitives are looking for and not see it when it presents itself. Concervatives are not all going to be Republicans, at least not initially. DeDe showed you who she was when she threw her support to the Democrat didn't she ?

Mr.Speaker,Newt Gingrich.I Am A Life time republican,For the first time in my life(i am 80 years old)I am so discusted at the so called Republican Leadership, they brought us to this point that we are today. They Just Dont Gett It. you live in an other planet. The Ship Is Sinking, instead to call all hand on deck, your antiquated ways call for abandon ship. Your visionis blaired, open you eyes, and listen to what we are saying. The now(commander in chief)is on his way out with all his commies.we must prove to our people that we deserve their trust. we dont want to go back to an other republican era without the american values. Americans deserve better.I Am numerus Ronald Reagan, and other Life Time awards recepiant for my support.restore the conservative values and ask all americans that love our country to support us.mjl

I wish I could be in Washington with such fine and like-minded people.
I have published a blog on this health care debacle/socialist takeover:
http://www.ostrichfallacy.blogspot.com
and I am writing and calling Rep. Ed Markey, MA 7th regularly.
I will be in the capitol in spirit.

Newt.....Are you hearing us NOW?
NY district 23 (supporting a RINO), global warming (NOT Science, about politics and money), Sarah Palin (don't attack) SEE THE PATTERN HERE?

Are you sincere? Do you have the same conservative values?
It has taken me one hour of my quality time to read through all of these comments. The majority expresses disappointment in your actions once again.

You need to tell us (THE TRUE CONSERVATIVES) where you stand. Or we can not believe in YOU any longer.

We need trust. We have our conservative values. We have expressed these values here on this sight. Many, many true conservative Americans. Are you with us or not? You need to answer our question. Are you in touch with us? It seems you are not!

You ask for our support but you continue to ignore our concerns. I look at your actions and I am concerned.

I do not want Obama/Pelosi Health Care.
I do support your actions in D.C. but can not attend.

I work so hard and so many hours a week just to keep my job. This government is out of control. It upsets me to even have to take this time to tell you just how frustrated I am with what is going on. You are out of touch with what us Americans are going-through right now.

I sincerely hope you read every one of these comments.
If you do not then I truly know where you stand. It would not be with us conservatives.

I would appreciate your response, since you sent this message to MY COMPUTER that I pay for! AFTER PAYING MY TAXES!!!

Newt...you certainly deserves the criticism being heaped upon you for your actions on NY-23 but we all make mistakes and your common sense principles and wisdom for the conservative movement have been right on. Sometimes in the heat of battle we make bad decisions but it certainly doesn't change the goals of the fight. The Republican Party and most conservatives in general appeared lost for leadership after being swept by Obama-mania syndrome.

Your leadership and speaking out have helped create an anchor in the storm of this unrestrained liberalism coming from the Pelosi/Reed/Obama crowd. Please keep up the fight and your good work for common sense government.

Lets not throw Newt off the lifeboat in this liberal assault on our Constitution and freedoms in America...we will need all the help from everyone regardless of past errors...God Speed Newt...

Newt, I too am absolutely dissapointed in your judgement to support DeeDee in NY 23(where's your head)? You of all people should know what she stands
for on social and political issues.....you cost the Republicans this much needed seat. First the Sharpton debacle, now the DeeDee debacle, one more and you've proved to us Conservative that you don't stand for conservative priciples as you like to pretend. In the meantime I'm witholding any financial support.
